The renowned musicians  Arzu Kırtıl (piano), Tahir Aydoğdu (kanun), Aykut Dursen (bass) and Luxembourg’s Kreisler Quartet, comprising string players from the Orchestre Philharmonique de Luxembourg, are coming together on Thursday 4th April 2013  in the Salle Robert Krieps to perform an evening of music by the famous Turkish composer Hasan Ferid Alnar.

 

This dynamic and quintessentially Turkish programme will delight with an evening of music by one of the most famous and pioneering composers of Turkish classical music, featuring  Alnar’s famous concerto for Kanun and String Quartet.

This exciting first time collaboration will bring together the considerable talent of musicians at the top of their instrumental fields.  All of whom have attracted plaudits, spanned continents and delighted audiences with their performances.  This concert exemplifies world class musicianship and multi culturalism.

Salle Robert Krieps and the beautiful Abbaye de Neumünster will lend themselves perfectly, aesthetically and acoustically, to this evening of beautiful music.

The concert is organised by the Association Culturelle Turque au Luxembourg in association with the Turkish Embassy and the CCR Neumünster.
